Handicap Welcome

On 5 January 2015, the Federal Police officially agreed to re-establish and restart the Handicap Welcome Working Group. Its members now operate under the leadership of the Directorate of Staff, which gave it a new mandate, with objectives and a method of work. It aims to provide support to and facilitate the integration of persons with disabilities and with reduced mobility into the police. Its leitmotiv is simple: skills come before disability! Having a disability does not mean that you cannot have dreams and move on in both your family and professional life! The Handicap Welcome Working Group wishes to improve the perception of people with disabilities and to highlight the skills of each worker.
