In total, 220 065 people were tested for alcohol during the Bob winter campaign 2014-2015, which lasted from 28 November 2014 until 26 January 2015. The aim of this campaign was to combat drink driving. 6 169 motorists tested positive (>0,35 mg/l) and another 2 910 fell into the result category “warn” (>0,22 mg/l). These figures are collected by the Directorate of Police Information and ICT Resources for the integrated Police. Afterwards, they are communicated to the Belgian Road Safety Institute (BRSI) and their regional counterparts in order to be published.
