Chechen criminals

Together with their counterparts of Namur, Charleroi and East Flanders, the Federal Judicial Police of Mons-Tournai carried out a judicial operation with the support of the Special Units. Eleven house searches were conducted in Mons, Boussu, Namur, Menen and Quévy, at the club ‘Le Privé’, in connection with local organised crime groups and Chechen bouncers. Seven persons suspected of involvement in a shooting in the area of Tournai, in January 2015, were arrested. This operation led to the seizure of weapons and anabolic substances.
