Duo-Day: beyond disability

Duo-Day is based on a simple concept: for one day, a company opens its doors to a person with a disability. Various departments of the Federal Police enthusiastically welcomed three motivated persons suffering from Crohn’s disease, deafness or a mental disability. Esmeralda and Rabea spent the whole day in the Jardins de la Couronne complex, more particularly in the Directorate of Communication and in the Diversity Department of the Federal Police, respectively. The Highway Police of Antwerp welcomed Nicolas, who, despite his mental disability, was very motivated and took a great interest in all the activities offered to him.
