30 years of armoured protection
30 April 2015
The Directorate of Protection (DGA/DAP) of the Federal Police celebrated 30 years of partnership with the National Bank of Belgium. In 1985, the National Bank placed the first armoured cash-in-transit vehicle, a Mercedes 500 SEL, at the Gendarmerie’s disposal.
This anniversary was the occasion to put the spotlight on the excellent work of our police colleagues in charge of those missions, as well as on the National Bank colleagues who always accompany them.
And what better place to welcome these guests than the museum of the integrated police? For the curators, it was an opportunity to present pieces of great historical value, such as vintage vehicles.
