Catherine De Bolle, chairman of the Intelligence and Security Coordination Committee

The Council of Ministers appointed the General Commissioner of the Federal Police Catherine De Bolle chairman of the Intelligence and Security Coordination Committee.
The Intelligence and Security College was reformed by Royal Decree of 2 June 2015 to allow the establishment of a Strategic Committee and of an Intelligence and Security Coordination Committee.
The Strategic Committee is responsible for both the preparation and implementation of the security policy and is made up of representatives of the National Security Council as well as of the president of the Coordination Committee. The Coordination Committee is composed of senior officials from authorities and services in charge of intelligence and security. This committee prepares strategic proposals, monitors the implementation of the priorities set by the National Security Council and ensures efficient cooperation and information exchange between the relevant services and authorities.
