The Federal Judicial Police of East Flanders targeted a group of 12 Romanian criminals who broke into company premises to essentially steal electrical appliances. The investigators, who mainly used a wide range of observation techniques, counted 130 facts. Many house searches were carried out and made it possible to seize lots of material. Phone-tapping allowed establishing criminal conspiracy and catching the burglars in the act. The case was closed on 29 July 2015. Several suspects were sentenced by the Court of first instance of Ghent.
