Visit of the Minister of Mobility to the Railway Police

The Minister of Mobility Jacqueline Galant, in charge of Belgocontrol, the Belgian national railway company (SNCB) and the Belgian railway infrastructure manager (Infrabel) paid a visit to the Railway Police (SPC). Despite the fact that the Minister’s offices and the central offices of the railway Police are located in the same building, this was their first official meeting.

Through this visit, the Railway Police pursued three objectives: presenting its work and organisation to the Minister, debating the communication procedures during rail accidents and incidents and talking about the access to recordings of cameras located in stations. A presentation was given on the cooperation between the Railway Police and the security officers of Securail.
