Police crime statistics

The 2014 police crime statistics are published. They represent the criminal offences registered by the police services. This is so-called ‘registered crime’, as opposed to crime that is not registered in reports and which is known as the ‘dark figure’. This figure can be estimated by means of population surveys like the Security Monitor.
