Grand Prix without incidents
23 August 2015
The preparation for the 2015 Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix is the result of the close cooperation between the Federal Police and the police zone Stavelot-Malmedy. The Coordination and Support Directorate of Liège was in charge of law enforcement. In total, more than 850 police officers from Wallonia and Brussels were in charge of security and mobility around the circuit day and night.
They received support from about thirty colleagues from our neighbouring countries: France, Germany, the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The Highway Police of Liège, the air support unit, the Information and Communication Centre and the mounted police of the Federal Police were also part of this police force. There were no incidents.
