Federal Police intercept 100 kilograms of cocaine in the port of Ghent

When searching a ship coming from Colombia, the Federal Judicial Police of East Flanders, working in close cooperation with the Federal Maritime and River Police, found about 100 kilograms of cocaine. The rummage team of the Federal Maritime and River Police (which specialises in searching ships), the Intervention Corps of East Flanders as well as three drug detection dogs provided assistance. The drugs were thoroughly packed and were hidden under a load of coal.
