Open day at the West Flanders Highway Police

On Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September, the West Flanders Highway Police opened its doors to the general public. The public was welcomed at the Jabbeke Traffic Police Unit for two days of demonstrations with numerous interesting stands.

The following activities were organised:

• demonstration of the different departments;
• demonstration of the new Search & Rescue helicopter of Koksijde;
• visit of the RMI meteorological tower;
• exposition of old and new police cars;
• numerous stands of rescue and control services;
• promotion and recruitment;
• various organised activities.
