Serial killer arrested through innovation

Thanks to the knowledge present in its CTI (Central Technical Interception) department and the use of new technological investigation tools, the Federal Judicial Police of Halle-Vilvoorde has achieved rapid success in an investigation into a serial killer. The use of a specific tool has made it possible to access data of the suspect on social network sites and other cloud-based accounts. This proves that such technical investigation methods are not only essential in computer crime cases, but become ever more indispensable for investigation in general.
