In spite of all efforts made, the number of people – totally illegally – walking or crossing railway lines has continued to increase. Nearly a 20 % increase, if we compare the first half of 2015 with the first half of 2014. On 14 October 2015, Infrabel launched a new awareness-raising campaign in collaboration with Securail, the Belgian National Railway Company and the Federal Police. A strong campaign, leaving no doubt about the risks taken by those who cross railway lines where prohibited.
