24 October 2015

To pursue the modernisation of its HR policy, the Federal Police created in 2015 some twenty satellite offices throughout the country to facilitate teleworking. The first one was inaugurated in Oudenaarde on 24 October.

Working in a satellite office follows the same logic as teleworking at home, except that the worker is welcomed in a police building near his home, in a room specifically dedicated to this new form of working. As a consequence, the staff member can access the specific police software tools, while working near his home.
