Catherine De Bolle, chief editor of the RTBF news for one day

On 21 December 2015, General Commissioner of the Federal Police Catherine De Bolle was chief editor of the 13:00 RTBF news for one day. The RTBF is the public broadcasting organisation of the French Community of Belgium.

In the morning, she took part in the editorial meeting with the news presenter and the editor and commented on the news topics. At 13:00, she went live on air and the news presenter regularly asked her what she thought about certain topics of relevance to the police. Naturally, the aim was not to get to the bottom of things, but to learn more about the ‘leading lady’ of the Federal Police.
